Belt Line: Detroit - Union Belt of Detroit
The Union Belt of Detroit was a collection of lines owned by the Pere Marquette, Wabash and Pennsylvania railroads. It ran on the west side of Detroit and Dearborn, reaching Highland Park.
The route began at Fort Street Union Station, then west to Delray, north though Rougemere and out the PM line towards Plymouth. The line left the PM at P-Company Junction and went north through Fullerton (crossing the old PM main line). The line then turned east going to Highland Park and paralleling the Detroit Terminal. The Union Belt also included the old PM main line from Oak via Fullerton, to West Detroit.
