Depots or Towers with a "Message Box" Attached To the Building

WasepiSignMessage Boxes were a back-lighted signaling box which was attached to the front of a tower or station. When a train passed by the station, the agent/operator displayed the train number and time of departure in the box. Following trains were not allowed to proceed behind the first train until a set number of minutes had passed, as defined in the time table. Message boxes were used by a variety of roads around the turn-of-the-century but were discontinued.
