This branch line extended originally from Saginaw west via Edmore to Big Rapids and then Muskegon. This portion of the line is from Berry (near Muskegon) to Big Rapids. It was cut back to Freemont.

Time Line
1922, April. The PM has ordered the material for the installation of telephone train dispatching circuits, including their line from Berry to White Cloud, 36 miles. [RSG-1922-04]
1926. The MPUC gives permission for the PM to sell or abandon their branch between White Cloud to Big Rapids. [MPUC-1926]
