Station: Kidd, MI
Kidd was founded in 1836 with a sawmill located here in northwest Ionia County. It was first known as Dickinsonville and renamed to Otisco in 1845. It was changed to Kiddville or Kidd in 1878. The town was two miles north of Belding on the Montcalm County line.

1870. November. The depot at Kiddville is completed. It was 24' by 70' and "one of the best depots on the line". [I&L]
