Lansing Drop Forge was located just east of Logan Street along the former Lansing Branch of the New York Central railroad. The railroad had two spur tracks which serviced the plant.
When the Lansing Branch was abandoned south of Lansing, this was one of the last businesses served on the branch from the north end.
