Location: Lansing, MI - Hosmer Street Tower
Hosmer Street Tower was located in SE Lansing, about 1/4 mile southeast of MA Tower. Hosmer Street was the crossing of the Pere Marquette main line to Detroit, and the Michigan Electric Railway (Lansing lines). The interurban line ran down Hosmer. The tower was staffed by the PM.

Time Line
1917. The railroad commission approves an interlocking system at the crossing of the tracks of the PM and the Michigan United Traction Co. on Hosmer Street, Lansing, MI. [MCR-1917]
1927. This was a staffed interlocking tower around-the-clock. The leverman jobs here paid 54¢ per hour.
