Station: Port Hope, MI
Port Hope is a town on Lake Huron in eastern Huron County. It was settled about 1855 and a lumber mill was built in 1858. [MPN] It became a village in 1887. Port Hope was located at the end of a Pere Marquette railroad branch line from Port Huron via Palms and Ruth.
