1907. September. A device which will record the sale of tickets, as well as print them as desired by the patrons of the road has been installed at the Houghton office of the Copper Range railroad. 1911. December 27. Emil Roytio of Painesdale, was waiting at the Hancock station of the Copper Range railroad for a train. He was rather unsteady on his feet on account of frequent potations, and approaching too close to the side of the platform, toppled over on the rails, striking on his head. A dray was called into requisition to convey the unconscious man to jail, and this morning he was arraigned before Justice Little on a charge of intoxication and fined two dollars and costs.
