Notes
Time Line
1949. May. For more than a year, a fully grown male partridge has been meeting Foreman Leo Chriske and his section crew every day near Beaton's Spur. Hearing the approaching speeder, the bird often dashes from the woods to the track where he goes through a series of playful antics to entertain himself and the men. [EDP-1949-0510]
