Station: Atlas, MI
Atlas, in Genesee County, was settled in 1830 and a sawmill was constructed in 1833 and a gristmill in 1836. In the mid-1850's it was known as Dawsonville. [MPN]
It was located on the interurban line between Oxford and Flint, about three miles northwest of Goodrich.
