Cory Yard is a freight yard on the CN main line west of Lansing. It is actually located in Delta Township, Eaton County. The west entrance is at Nixon Road.
The yard serves the Autoport loading facility which is located here. The east end of the yard is at Billwood Highway and the I-69 overpass.
2007. The new Cory Yard, on the CN Flint Subdivision, is up and running. Outbound loads for Flat Rock and Battle Creek originate here. Due to heavy traffic generated by the GM plant, a new set of double crossovers is being installed halfway between the double track switch at Potterville and Cory Yard. This will allow better traffic flow as trains switching at Cory often block main #1 leading to frequent delays. [MRF-2007-06]
