Notes
Time Line
1929. Ensign was hit by one of the worse snow storms of the winter, disrupting telephone and railroad servicer. Ensign was without telephone service all day Thursday. The Soo Line had to send out a snow plow and bull-dozer before any trains could go through. Early passenger train No. 8 pulled through about 3-4 hours late with two engines, then the freight trains went through. But passenger trains 86 and 87 were annulled. Friday all trains were back on their scheduled time. [EDP-1929-0310]
