Notes

Time Line

1903. The railroad commission received a communication from the Grand Rapids & Indiana calling attention to the condition of the interlocking appliance at the crossing of their line with the Boyne City & South Eastern at Boyne Falls. An inspection found that there was necessity for some changes in the condition of the crossing, it was not considered necessary to order any additional mechanical protection. No order was made but it was agreed by the railroad companies in interest that the necessary work should be promptly done. [MCR-1903]
