Location: Niles, MI - Interurban Operations
The interurban railroad passed through Niles on the east side of the St. Joseph River.
Image info: Top, a southbound interurban car passes under an arched bridge of the Michigan Central main line at Niles in a postcard view, probably around 1910. This was on Second Avenue. The bridge continues to exist in 2023. 2nd image, the same underpass in a postcard view. This underpass continues to be used today for automobile traffic. 3rd image, the interurban station at Niles, MI.
