Station: Assinns, MI
Assins was settled in 1843 with a Catholic mission. It was a station stop on the Duluth, South Shore & Atlantic railroad about three miles north of Baraga.

2014. This is the end of the line of the Canadian National branch line to L'Anse and Baraga, serving a few small industrial facilities just north of Baraga.
