Trenary was a small hamlet on the CMStP&P branch line north from Rapid River. The town was in Alger County.

Time Line
1917. The CMStP&P had an agent here on the day shift. [TRT]
1941. The Soo Line railroad has a crew of 80 men here who are repairing the track between Rapid River and Eben. The crew is living in old pullman cars. [EDP-1941-0912]
