Mellen was located 25 miles west of Ironwood, MI on both the Wisconsin Central (Soo Line) and C&NW railroad.
1977. The Soo Line closed its station at Mellen. The area will be served by a traveling agent from the Park Falls area. The depot was built by the WC. [IDG-1977-0108]
