Location: Hematite, WI (Florence County)
Hematite was a junction point on the C&NW line between Iron Mountain and Watersmeet. It was at milepost 40 and one mile east of Commonwealth, WI.
Notes
The spur here went south to the Buckeye Mine and the Ernst Mine (which was in Florence).
The railroad had a 3,483' passing siding here and telegraph office.
