Location: Detroit, MI - Detroit Harbor Terminal

The Detroit Harbor Terminal was a large, multi story indoor storage building which was along side the Detroit River at 4486 West Jefferson, between Clark and McKinstry streets.The building was 900,000 square feet including 250,000 square feet old indoor cold storage. The 10-story building was placed in service in 1925 and was served off the Union Belt of Detroit railroad. The building also had its own switcher and tracks entered the building.

The facility was closed in the 1970's. It remains in 2022 but is abandoned. [TSD]
