Station: Greenfield, MI
Greenfield was settled about 1826 in central Wayne County. It became part of the City of Detroit as the result of various annexations between 1875 and 1926. [MPN]
Notes
According to a Wayne County 1873 map, the village of Greenfield was at Grand River Avenue and West Chicago Street in Greenfield Township. This was on the original Detroit, Lansing I& Northern main line about 4 miles northwest of West Detroit (Grand Junction).
