Location: Detroit, MI - Harper Avenue Crossing (MC/DUR)

Harper Avenue Belt Line CrossingThis was the crossing of the Michigan Central Belt Line and the Detroit United Railway crossing at Harper Avenue. This was near the southeast corner of what is now the General Motors "Zero" plant.

Time Line

1917. The railroad commission grants the MC permission to cross the DUR on Harper Avenue in Detroit, and approves plans for the crossing. [MCR-1917]
