Location: 3rd Street Yard, Detroit, MI
3rd Street Yard was a Michigan Central yard which was adjacent to the Third Street passenger station at the foot of the Detroit River. The MC had a freight house and team tracks at this location. [MCTC-1950]

Time Line
1882. December. To make certain track improvements to the yards of the MC has made it necessary for the discontinuing for the time being of the elevator "B" and all the grain is being removed from that house to the other. [DFP-1882-1215]
