Station: Kibbie, MI
Kibbie was organized when the Kalamazoo & South Haven came through here in 1870. [MPN] The town, in the northwest corner of Van Buren County, was located about four miles east of South Haven.

This depot was an American Express agency. You could purchase money orders, exchange drafts, buy travelers checks, obtain letters of credit and make telegraph transfers, according to the sign.
The semaphore train order signal was located at the next adjacent building.
