Station: Germfask, MI

Germfask, in Schoolcraft County, was founded about 1881. [MPN] It was located on the Manistique railway about six miles south of Seney.

Time Line

1893. Manistique railway is built into Germfask. [MRL]

1902. The principal business of the Manistique railroad is the transportation of logs and other forest products, One mixed train is run each way, daily, for the accomodation of passenger traffic. A new station is built at Germfask. [MCR-1902]

1910. Railway is sold to a lumber company and abandoned shortly thereafter.
