Station: Tyre, MI
Tyre was settled about 1857 in northern Sanilac County. [MPN] It was located on the Port Huron & Northwestern railroad (later PM, C&O, HESR) about six miles northwest of Palms.

Time Line
1898. Tyre was staffed by a day agent/operator and had a 21-car passing siding. It was a regular station stop for passenger trains.
1931. The MPUC denies the PM permission to discontinue the agency station at Tyre. [MPUC-1931]
