Wadhams was settled about 1825 in St. Clair County, with a mill built here on the Black River. [MPN]
Wadhams was located on the Pere Marquette branch line which ran between Port Huron (at Tappan) and Saginaw via Marlette. It was located about three miles northwest of Tappan.
