Location: Saginaw Dock & Terminal Company, Saginaw, MI

The Saginaw Dock & Terminal Company has two facilities in the Saginaw area. The company receives, stores and ships aggregate products.

The larger of the two facilities is on the west bank of the Saginaw River just north of the I-75 Zilwaukee Bridge. This facility appears to store salt, as well as other commodities. In addition to a lake vessel dock, it has railroad service from the Huron & Eastern railroad.

The second location is in the City of Saginaw on First Street, north of the I-675 river bridge. This facility appears to store sand, gravel and rock products. Though it had rail service in the past, it doesn't appear to currently have a siding.

Notes

The dock company, under Ogelbay Norton Co., operated two industrial cranes and a GE 44-ton locomotive with an extended cab. Dates not known. [CGJ/GTWHS-2021-Sum]
