Location: Saginaw, MI - West Side

This was the original City of Saginaw on the west side of the river. The original Jackson, Lansing & Saginaw came up here along the river, enroute to Bay City and beyond.

Photo info: This photo was taken in March, 1916 during a flood of the Saginaw River. A series of loaded MCRR log cars are on the branch line awaiting their disposition. The bridge over the river, which is slightly open, was the original Court Street swing bridge. The biulding at the left of the railroad appears to be the MC's Court Street depot.
