Station: Verne, MI
Verne was settled about 1884 and was a station on the Grand Trunk Western's line from Durand to Saginaw. [MPN] This site was about 15 miles south of East Saginaw and a GTW branch line left the railroad here going about eight miles west to Alicia. [USGS/1915]
