Location: Gaylord, MI - US Plywood Plant

xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxUS Plywood Plant Engine U.S. Plywood had a large plant along the New York Central (later the D&M) in Gaylord, south of the county airport. The plant was opened in the mid-1960's and closed in 2006. At one time it was the largest particle board plant in the world. Today, just the footings for the building and some remnants of the rails are in place.
