Fairview, MI - Pinconning & Blind River Railroad

The Pinconning & Blind River was originally started by E. Carrington Eddy on his private property in the early 1950's. He loved trains and built his own to use in harvesting timber off his property. The later opened up the little railroad for people to enjoy.

Notes

The Shrader family moved from Tecumseh to Fairview to work for the Eddy family on their railroad. He later formed the AuSable River Valley Railroad near by. The steam locomotive from the Eddy operation was acquired by the Shrader's.

Time Line
