Station: Orono, MI
Orono is located about four miles north of Reed City in Osceola County. It was known as McDonald's Siding for a time but was renamed Orono in 1875. The location was also known as Orono Junction. [MPN]
Orono was on the Grand Rapids & Indiana railroad's line to Mackinaw City. A junction with the GR&I's branch west to Deer Lake, Luther and Carey left the main line here.
