Time Line
1912. June. A wrecking train backed its pile driver into a washout on the D&M railroad at South Branch Tuesday morning. It required the services of two wrecking trains, two section crews and two train crews to free it and in the meantime passengers walked a plank across the washout to get from one train to another.
