Location: Rochester, MI - Main Street Tower
Main Street interlocking was located in Rochester at the crossing of the Michigan Central Bay City branch, and the Detroit United Railroad interurban line to Flint and Imlay City.
Notes
This tower is mentioned in the Railway Signal & Engineering article in 1930 as the tower at Main Street. Main Street crossed the MC as well as the GT in Rochester. The assumption here is that the MC would only make an investment in the remote control of Rochester Jct. if it was operated by their own tower. A tower could not be confirmed in [SBM] at either location. Requires further research.

After the electric line was discontinued and the tower closed, the CTC remote control of Rochester Junction was moved to the MC depot at Rochester.
Time Line
1930. The nearby MC/GTW crossing, which had been controlled by an operator in an interlocking tower at the crossing is now remote controlled at Main Street tower. The control equipment consists of an illuminated diagram, a set of punch buttons with indicating lights located at the operator's desk, and a single lever in the interlocking machine which is not interlocked with the other levers but is used to select between different manual block indications of signal B784.
