The Pontiac South Boulevard crossing was the interlocked crossing of the GTW and the Eastern Michigan interurban railway. The GTW was double tracked here.
1902. The GTW called attention to the condition of the interlocking appliance at the this crossing, east of Pontiac, to the railroad commission. The interlocking machine was in very bad condition; both return wires being broken at the lever stand and a number of the wire carriers gone entirely, and the wires lying in the grass prevented the signals from working freely. This matter was called to the attention of the Detroit United Railway (later EM) and a new interlocking appliance was installed at the crossing in question. [MCR-1903]
1931. The MPUC approves changes to the interlocking. [MPUC-1931]
1932. This location was out-of-service as an interlocking plant in September. [GTWHS-2023-F]
