West Pontiac was a location on the GTW Holly Subdivision, 4.2 miles northwest of the Pontiac passenger station near Watkins Lake Road in Waterford Township. For westbound (northbound) trains in 1971, this was the end of double track and the beginning of CTC to Durand. [GTW-1971-0501]
