Location: Holly Interlocking Tower, Holly, MI
Holly is located in northwest Oakland County and is the crossing of the former Detroit & Milwaukee railroad (later GTW/CN) and the former Flint & Pere Marquette railroad (later C&O/CSX). The crossing was protected by an interlocking tower which controlled orderly movements over the crossing by both lines.
The tower has been closed for some time, with the crossing controlled by Lake State railway dispatchers via CTC.
