Mines: Oxford Gravel Mines

The Michigan Central and Grand Trunk Western railroads served a major gravel mine operation north of Oxford. The Michigan Central Bay City branch ran through here and was a manual block railroad, but it had signals through this area to protect freight trains which stop to service the mine.
