Station: Sylvan Lake, MI
Sylvan Lake was founded about 1881 as a station on the Grand Trunk Western's Jackson Branch. The town became a village in 1923 and a city in 1946. [MPN]. In 1895, the depot was located at what is now Inverness Street (and the bike trail).
Sylvan Lake was located about three miles southwest of Pontiac in Oakland County.
