Time Line
1883. June 2. A.H. Petrie & Company's saw mill at North Muskegon burned last week. The fire consumed the schooner of George Boyce, and a lumber pile belonging to Blodgett & Byrne. The mill loss was $30,000 (insured for $20,000), schooner ($15,000 with no insurance), and lumber ($7,000 with no insurance). (NTR-18883-0602]
