Location: Big Rock, MI
Big Rock was a lumber settlement about four miles west of Atlanta, MI in Montmorency County. It was served by a forest branch line off the Michigan Central's Lewiston Branch.

1899. C. A. Sands of Cheboygan, bought a tract of hardwood near Big Rock, and has sold it to William H. White & Company of Boyne City, cleaning up $11,000 profit in the deal. [AML-1899-1007]
