PM Six Lakes Depot CO Six Lakes MI Depot CO Six Lakes MI Depot Logging Railroad Near Six Lakes Six Lakes was settled about 1876 in northern Montcalm County. [MPN] It was located on a Pere Marquette railroad branch line about six miles west of Edmore.

Time Line

1893. Six Lakes, a small village six miles from Edmore, was completely wiped out by fire. The flames started in a small building and spread rapidly, destroying the telephone office, post office, and in fact, all of the property in town. [WEX-1893-0512]
