Station: Monroe, MI - MC and LSMS Facilities

The Michigan Central station in Monroe was located along their main line opposite East Second Street (along Eastchester Street). [SBM-1916]

The Lake Shore & Michigan Southern (later NYC) passenger station was located just north of their branch to Adrian, along Kentucky Avenue north of East 1st Street.


Notes

The LS&MS station had a nearby small turntable for turning locomotives on the LS&MS Monroe Branch (from Adrian). The branch also had a small three track stub end yard, a freight house and office, and a coaling platform.  [SBM-1916]
