Station: Borland, MI
Borland was settled about 1869 in Mecosta County and first called Bell Crossing. The Grand Rapids & Indiana railroad came through and renamed it Bell Siding. It was renamed Borland in 1884. [MPN]
The town was located on the GR&I about three miles north of Morley, and ten miles south of Big Rapids.
