Station: Walhalla, MI
Walhalla was originally an Indian village. It was called Merrit and then Manistee Junction when the railroad came through. It was renamed to its Indian name in 1905. [MPN]
Walhalla was a junction of the Pere Marquette Saginaw to Ludington main line and their branch north to Manistee.
