Station: Sands Station, MI
Sands was a station on the Chicago & North Western railroad about 12 miles northwest of Little Lake in Marquette County. The town was settled about 1853 and a station was established when the railroad came through. [MPN]
Notes
The C&NW had a "end car body" depot here in 1917. It also had a pump house, section dwelling and tool house. The railroad had a 2,358' passing siding here as well as a spur of the siding. [CNWV]
