Location: Morgan, MI (Marquette County)
Morgan was a location on the DSS&A line from Marquette to Ishpeming and was located about 0.8 miles east of Eagle Mills. This was likely the location of the Morgan Furnace.

Time Line
1884. August 1. John A Miller, a section boss on the MH&O railroad was run over the other morning at Morgan, by an ore train and instantly killed. He had been working all night, and sitting down on the rails, and fell asleep. He was from New York. [HBT-1884-0801]
