Located on the shore of Lake Superior, north of the city of Marquette.
1907. The new hoisting plant and pump for the Armenia Mine has arrived. It is not entirely new but has been made up in part from engines that were on hand at the Lake Superior Engine Works. The engine is 22x48 and operates eight foot drums. [DD-1907-0824]
