Location: National Mine, MI
National Mine was a hamlet community which provided housing for the National (iron) Mine southwest of Ishpeming. The C&NW and DSS&A served this area during the heydey of iron mining. After mining operations closed, the Mineral Range railroad shortline took over to service the dynamite factory in Pluto.
