Location: Soo Junction, Ishpeming, MI
Soo Junction is located on the west side of the City of Ishpeming and was the junction which allowed an eastbound Soo Line train to go east into downtown Ishpeming on the original M&O main line. After the 1960’s reroute of the main line, this was a controlled CTC junction by the dispatcher.
Notes
Today, this is the entrance to the Mineral Range engine facility.
